Live Painting at Bishop Museum
During this visit, I was honored to have the opportunity to create a live painting at the Bishop Museum, celebrating Hawaii’s culture, history, and natural history.
I depict the ‘I’iwi, a symbol of Hawaii’s natural guardianship, and the ’Ōhi‘a Lehua, known as the flower of Pele, the volcano goddess.
Dimensions: 4 3/8 x 20 1/4 inchs
Medium: watercolor on Illustration board
